General

Games times are 1 hour total length. The first 15 minutes should be used for teams to practice on baseball fundamentals such as throwing, ground balls, pop-ups.

The remaining 45 minutes should be used for an informal 2 inning game with no score being kept.

Teams may have any number of players and coaches are encouraged to share players if teams have vastly uneven numbers of players.

Coaches may stand anywhere on the field during the games.

No umpires will be used an it is up to the coaches to declare outs and judge if a player should return to the dugout or run the bases.

Batting

All players must remain in the dugout unless they batting.

All players on the team will bat in a batting order established prior to the game. If a player arrives late, they will be placed at the end of the batting order. Each team should bat one time through the batting order in each inning. Hence each player will bat two times per game.

Players must wear batting helmets while batting and running.

Each batter will hit the ball off a tee into play. If a player hits the tee and the ball is knocked askew, the coach will call a foul ball and place the ball back on the tee.

After 4 games into the season, if a coach wishes to soft pitch to a player, they may throw no more than three pitches. If a player does not hit the ball into fair territory, the tee shall be employed.

If a player hits the ball less than 1 foot into fair territory, the ball will be ruled a foul and the player will get another swing.

Bunting is not permitted.

If a team has batted through the lineup, the coach will announce the final batter is batting. The final play is dead when an out is made or time is called after the ball is put in play.

Running

Runners may not lead, steal or leave any base until after a ball is put into play.

Defense

A team may align players in any configuration desired.
